Purpose

Self-hosted git hosting — the source of truth for «PROJECT» code and this documentation vault.

HTTP access

Via Caddy like every other service: «GITEA_DOMAIN» → «CADDY_TAILNET_IP» → 10.0.1.24:3000.

git over SSH

Caddy can’t proxy SSH, so the container itself is tailnet-joined (decisions — chosen over tailnet subnet routing).

• SSH server: gitea’s embedded SSH, port 22
• SSH data dir: /var/lib/gitea/data/.ssh
• Remote format: gitea@gitea.«TAILNET_DOMAIN»:«SSH_USER»/<repo>.git

verify

Gitea’s advertised SSH clone host in app.ini should display the tailnet name — confirm the UI shows gitea.«TAILNET_DOMAIN» URLs.
